API Intro

The Best Buy Remix API provides a simple REST based interface for our entire product catalog past and present. This includes pricing, availability, specifications, descriptions and images for nearly a million current and historical products. We also have store data which allows you to check product availability by store. Not enough? How about Napster's product catalog built in.

The Best Buy Remix API requires an API key which is provided during registration before you can use the service. The key identifies you as a unique developer making calls against the Best Buy Remix API.

The Best Buy Remix API is RESTful. Currently we support the GET method but as we release features POST and PUT may become available for certain things.

There is no charge for using Remix, and the limitations are simple:

• Do not claim to be Best Buy
• Acknowledge that the data came from us when you use it
• If you offer commerce, Best Buy must be one of the options

And the technical Terms of Service

We have some basic usage limits:

• Up to 50000 queries per day
• Up to 5 queries per second
• Do you require increased limits? Contact us and we can discuss your situation.
