Is there a way to get or generate the URL for the product image. I have tried using "show=all", but it is still not returned.
It seems that the URL can almost be generated by using the SKUID
Ex product image for SKUID 8880044 is:
http://images.bestbuy.com/BestBuy_US/images/products/8880/8880044.jpg
But this does not seem to be the case for all products
Ex product image for SKUDI 8742024 is:
http://images.bestbuy.com/BestBuy_US/images/products/8742/8742024_sb.jpg
The image does not work without the tailing "_sb".
Is there a way to properly resolve the image URL for any product?
There's been some chatter about how to correctly get that URL put together on the development team. I'll dig around and see if we can come up with something for you...
We're working on vastly improving on the number of image url's we expose. You're right to notice that there's usually a pattern to the url - that doesn't always hold, though, and sometimes the image isn't present (for certain products).
We hope to have to solved in the next couple weeks, it's definitely a priority.

Yes, we would very much prefer not to try and generate the URLs, because as you said they may not work for all products. I assume that once this is solved, product images will be returned with all remix results for all products that would display an image on the product page?

I have yet to come across a remix response that returns a product image, but I have not done a large amount of testing. The URLs I refereed to above were gathered by visiting actual product pages, in an attempt to discover a pattern.
The good news is the data issues are almost resolved. We have a few more kinks to work out but there should be another prod push pretty soon (with a ton of new features and data enhancements).
As you're seeing, the URL path is predictive but the naming is not (or rather, it is if you know a fairly large number of arcane crap, which is functionally the same as not being predictive at all from your perspective). We are planning to push the new version (which will have versioning, among other things) in the next few days. Thanks for the feedback.
On a mostly-unrelated note, I tried out Blue Organizer. That thing's neat! I'm looking forward to seeing BBY data in there. This may sound odd, but I'm almost as excited to see a cross-sell option taking me away from BestBuy.com as I am to see one taking me into it... :)

Hardgoods have images at the moment, nothing else does:
http://api.remix.bestbuy.com/products(type=hardgood)?show=name,image,thumbnailImage&apiKey=<your key>
